    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Gaining of or more specifically useing of infomation outside of what your ingame character would know.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergameing is in the most basic form a emote that will effect characters aside from your own that leaves no uncertainty in the actions result ,and does not give other players fair say in what happens to their characters.

    Jeff Lepnioner was child of the unremarkable David Lepnioner who traveled to Carolustadt when he was a mere teen with a father of his own who had a heart attack on the way into the city. David Lepnioner joined the legion ,and gave birth to a son. David Lepnioner was to lazy to think of a unique name for his first and only child so instead he named him Jeff. David Lepnioner never fought a war or punished a criminal in the 4 years he served in the legion until he was killed by a petty thief leaving Jeff Lepnioner by themselves. At the age of 4 this left Jeff shifting through the little money that his useless father left him and barely getting by for a year but at the age of just 5 Jeff Lepnioner learned how to make money for themselves by doing favors and physical labour for others. In the beginning he was barely scraping by but the more he did it, the more word spread of his usefulness ,and he even was able to pay the taxes on his fathers house and still get enough for 2 meals a day. His resourcefulness in this regard was truly remarkable ,but of course Jeff didn’t just want to live by doing favors for the common people he wanted to do favors for his city and his nation. Jeff wanted to be a honorable Legionnaire out of a strong sense of justice. Jeff Lepnioner may not be the strongest or the fastest but he wants more than anything to something special.

Physical Description: Aspireing to be a great soldier.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

You answered no to reading the rules. Please read the rules before you reapply.

 

Other than that, your application only had a few issues that need editing:

 

Ø You must include at least one flaw in your character's interesting facts/traits. Unfortunately, your character’s father being killed when they were young is not a weakness, it is just something that has happened to them. 

 

Ø Please try and fix some of your grammar if you’re able to, particularly in your metagaming and powergaming definitions. They’re just a little difficult to understand currently.
