Physical Description: Standing at 6'1", Illera has dark grey skin, red eyes, and long white hair. She has a more muscular build and usually wears simple wood elf clothing.

Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Illera steps forward and sits down, her gaze lingering on the hag, as she contemplates the question. The dim light of the tent flickers as she shifts, her hands folded neatly in her lap.

“I don’t remember my parents,” she begins quietly “I was found as a child in the woods, but... no one knows how I got there. The Wood Elves took me in. They raised me as one of their own, and for all my life, I’ve called them family. They've given me everything-- love, warmth, a sense of belonging. But even so, I’ve never felt like I truly belong.”

Her crimson eyes meet the hag's gaze, a flicker of something painful crossing her features. “I’ve always looked different, my skin, my eyes... it's hard to ignore. I know my parents tried, in their way, to teach me about my heritage-- the stories, the traditions. But... when I was younger, it never mattered to me. I was content with the life they gave me. The simple life. The peace of the forest.”

 

She pauses, the memory of her childhood comfort mixing with the growing ache in her chest. "But now..." Her voice falters for a moment, before she continues with newfound resolve. "Now, it pains me. I don't know where I came from. I don’t know who I truly am. And I can’t ignore it anymore. I love my the forest and my family, but I want to understand my roots. I want to reconnect with the heritage I’ve never truly known, even if it means stepping away from everything I’ve built here."

 

Her hands tighten into fists for a moment, then relax, as she exhales a deep breath. “I came here looking for answers... answers that only someone like you can give. Please. Help me find what’s been lost.”
