You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*Raven takes a shallow breath before stepping further into the tent. She sits down on the plump cushion, noticing its soft texture.* "well...im Raven zenyth. I was born to a family of dark elves, in Ramasar". *they begin to look down toward their feet* "though not long after my 4th birthday, i was left on the doorstep of another dark elf who was aquatinted with my family. She took me in like i was her own child. She has beautiful dark hair, grey skin and the most prettiest round, dark eyes" *a small, nostalgic smile creeped up on her face* "she raised me to be strong, taught me the way of the sword. By the time i was 12 i was almost a master at using it. Practicing my sword and battle skills were a favourite hobby of mine, teaching my self the arts of ghost walking, concealing my presence and footsteps. It was hard growing up, lacking friends, extended family and any knowledge of my biological family. I trained and helped around to keep my mind off the brewing questions in my head. As i grew older though, i yearned for more, more knowledge, more adventure. My guardian, being so protective of me, forbid me to make friends, saying not to trust anyone or stray too far from home. But I want to know what the outside world is like, what its like to make friends and find a place in this world" *she looked up at the old woman with glee glinting in their eyes*
