    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Meda gaming: “The act of making use of knowledge while roleplaying that a player has learned out of character, which their character does not know; often considered a form of cheating.”

    That is the google definition, but in my personal definition- it is using information OOCLY to turn used against someone or to manipulate others with this information. Such as someone looking at character apps and background information that has not been explained or told to you ICly.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming- “the act of using an in-game mechanic, any external information, or a roleplay concept to favor their own character or story, and give them an unfair or unrealistic advantage”

    Power gaming in my personal terms would be to have your char have unrealistic stats and power which is literally unbeatable and doesn't allow a fair way for anyone to defeat them.

OmiCat [CA]- Donais Iheiuhii'ame

 

Donais Iheiuhii'ame was born to a family of a Dark elf and Goblin woman. Who lived on the outskirts of Yong Ping long ago. They lived a remote life, Donais not having much outside communication due to her parents fearing others finding her appearance off or terrifying. 

 

When Donais was a young girl her father taught her arts, such as painting, and fine arts of dark elf culture. While her mother on the other hand taught her the art of archery and war. Donais grasped more of her father's soft gentle views- but was prone to goblin orcish temper tantrums.

 

When she was 15 her father decided to begin to teach her how to read- her mother didn't really like the idea of it, wishing she would learn more about how to operate a battle scene than by reading books on medical guides culture, etc.

 

After she had reached 20 she made her way over to Norland to start her new life. She was not too sure on if she would ever return to her parents or not, but she was determined to learn how to live amongst people and learn more about unique cultures- wishing to expand on her world knowledge and culture aprication- as well as wanting to become a medic.

Physical Description: 5.6 Dark Elf/Goblin- slim fit appearance- tiny awkward tusks -elven body type and sharp features- strawberry blonde hair -pale teal skin- red eyes
Roleplay Scenario:

Dona approaches the man whom called out to her, somewhat taken back by the fact he spoke to her. People don't often speak to people who look so unpleasing to the eye. She inhaled a sharp awkward breath before giving her best smile and replying to the well-dressed man “W-well.. I am here to find my purpose, perhaps go to medical schooling…or to just simply pave out a path for my new life.” Her voice was gentle yet she struggled to keep good eye contact with the person, preferring her eyes to stay glued to the ground.
