    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Revealing knowledge that a character could not have gained through any probable means within the world.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Giving a character abilities or powers beyond what is accepted as normal within the world, and abusing said power.

"Eh' seek te' fin' warhk' in te' lans' 'ere, an' a wam' bed if possabel'." He says, loosing his carpenter's belt, and as he does a small hammer falls from it. Scrambling for it, he swears under his breath, before popping back up to speak to the gentleman. "Pahaps' ye' may be knownin' where eh' coul' foin'd e' shmall  mahr'kit te' betta' 'quip meh'self far' meh' warhk'?" Now rustling through his many packs in on the docks, seemingly checking if anything else had fallen from his belongings. Once finished checking, he closes his bag and pulls on his beard in assurance.
