    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: To me, metagaming is using out-of-charachter information and using it as if your character found out. Magically knowing that you are being raided via discord is metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is giving your character abilities, often physical beyond natural. Your character isn't physically perfect, otherwise this would be powergaming.

"Hi stranger, adventure, wealth and aspirations are my reasons to get up in the morning. If this city offers this, I shall seek more from the people of this city than I intended to. Where would I find some kind of chief around here?"

I now go towards the city's town hall. Thinking to myself that this city is beautiful and looks mighty rich, I see a lot of potential for my clan here. Entering the town hall, I see the leader. A small human sitting on a chair at the end of the massive building. We don't exchange words, by our eye contact he already knows, I am coming for his throne.
