    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information of knowledge that you have not gathered through roleplay. Using knowledge your character does not know in roleplay is not allowed and deemed metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: power gaming is roleplaying without taking in consideration possible failure or logical sense while roleplaying. For example you emoting * slices person's throat, rather than *swings his dagger at person's throat aiming to slice it open.

 I slowly walk off the boat and look around the massive city, as I've never seen anything like it. " Hello! I'm not too sure why I'm here but all I do know is I'm wanting to stay. " I would walk up and shake the gentleman's hand and ask him " What is there to do around here sir? " Hoping he walks me around I'll stare at all the shops and folks who run them weird or not.
