    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: its when someone plays a game but their goal is to become as powerful as possible such as in combat or in other fields

A powerful mage who struggles to find his path. He goes deeper into the dark arcane of nercrmancy and is a master of all types of the arcane magic. His powers are to be feared. Thane is willing to use his magic  for the benefit of others only if he gets something in return.  If not pleased, he will use his magic for your demise

Character Age: 26
Physical Description: He wears a black robe and mysticism is practically glowing off his skin. His staff poses danger with its wide-ranges powers.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Unfortunately, since you are using a guest account to apply, there is no way for you to edit your application. Thus resulting in an instant denial. I would recommend creating a forum account so you can edit your next application, should you need to.

Anyways, here is what you will need to fix for next time you apply:

 

-Your character may not know magic when you first apply to the server. You will need to do the appropriate roleplay in game to acquire said magic.

-You will need to reference the LOTC lore at least once in your application. You can find the canon lore here.

-I would recommend choosing another skin for your character. Most nations do not take kindly to unknown, hooded people.

-Your powergaming definition is not quite what we are looking for. Please update your definition and provide an example of powergaming.
