I haven't seen clothes like that. Despite my youth in new clothes and a cultured environment, this man had an outfit on that shocked me. It was so sleek and clean - the embroidery alone denoted his status. "I've come to research." The grin he previously held slanted a bit near the corners. Clearly I need to elaborate. I state further, "I'm investigating the values of the faith found in this region." Once again, the grin slanted more. One of his eyebrows raised and I could see a questioning forming from his tounge. He asked, "You've arrived off a ship which looks to have seen better days, wearing some... untasteful garments..." I hadn't even thought to bring a change of clothes despite the long trip. He continues "and your first thought is to research... religion?" In hindsight, I could have had a better openner. Taking a minute to think and allowing enough awkward silence to fall, I walk up to the man, shake his hand, and say "You're right, where are my manners. My name is Alloc, Alloc Sonitus." He handshake becomes firmer and the same grin reappears on his face. "Now if you'd be so kind, where can we get some food?" He lets out a slight laugh to my question and takes me into the heart of the bazaar.
