Nordir was born in The Princedom of Caurost to a wealthy family, he was raised in a pretty cold and distant household as expected of High Elves, he was mostly brought up by human caretakers only seeing his parents on special occasions. All of this was lost however when his family fell into immense debt, having to sell everything and not having any real connection to his parents Nordir abandoned his home in search of a new life outside of his hometown. Now Nordir travels the countryside as a wandering merchant selling anything and everything he can get his hands on.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Example: *Seeming a bit taken aback by the familiarity showcased by the Old Hag Nordir raised his brow before answering* How do you know of me? *I say looking down at the Old Lady and after a short delay I add* No matter... I come from The Princedom of Caurost... Not that that means anything anymore. *I say looking a bit paler at the thought of what I had lost* Anyways, I intend to make a name for myself in the merchant business and live a comfortable life in a far off town away from all the conflicts.
