    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is almost like getting out of character by getting news and having your character be almost omnipotent.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone is acting as a god and having instant kill or over powered abilities.

As I step off the boat and my feet hit the ground of a port in front of a bazaar. I look around at all the shops and people trading and selling different items. I take a few steps forwards towards the bazaar as a gentleman approaches me. He welcomes me and I respond with "Thank you, sir!" He asks me what brought me here and I tell him "I am here to purchase herbs and flowers for my garden back at home."
