    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using information you gained from OOC and using it in roleplay. So say you were rping and you can see the players name over their head or in chat and you automatically emote saying “Hi Aubrey” without getting the info on their name would be metagame.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergame is forcing an attack on someone or forcing an outcome. You need to attempt with every action. “Stabbing him in the neck, killing him” would be powergame. But if I said “Attempts to stab him in the neck to kill him” is not.
