    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: setting reasonable limitations for your character and following them
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: its unfair to know something your character has not been told, seen or experienced. it disrupts the immersive flow that would have been created if someone knows of things they found out through other means than their character

Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 18
Physical Description: dark green shirt, greyish blue pants, brown shoes and a bag slung over his shoulder. he has light hazel eyes, darker brown hair. 5ft
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
 

-my story, nothing exciting. i simply travel to learn more of the other villages, their tales and folklore.- he says with a soft polite smile, hesitantly sitting upon the cushion. he had not told anyone where he planned to travel, he himself didn't have a plan besides where the wind took him.

  • Please make sure to include at least six sentences in your roleplay scenario! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about your parents? Etc.
  • Please remember to include backstory in the Back story & Roleplay Scenario! Even if your character doesn’t talk about it.
  • Please change your character’s actions to 3rd person.

Example: Judy stomps her foot on the ground. “How dare you!” she screams.

  • Please make sure to mark out what your character is saying with quotation marks.

Example: Judy laughs. “How are you doing?”
