    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: having abilities that do not fit in with your character. Yes a character should be able to grow and evolve, but not instantly, and without context.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Being far too perfect, or unrealistic of their actions, like moving at the speed of light or being a god, to name some examples.

Your application has unfortunately been denied at this time due to having too many points to put on pending, though here are the changes that would need to be made:

 

  • Your Character Biography is missing some lore references! Please remember to include at least two! These can be existing settlements, wars, religion, etc. Here are some links that may help you find some! One suggestion for a lore reference I could give you is stating that Slith is High Imperial for slithering as opposed to Latin, seeing as High Imperial is the LOTC equivalent of Latin, it would get you one of your two references.
  • Your Character Biography states that your character is the advisor to an Emperor. Seeing as this is claiming that your character is well known, this is not allowed. Any notable positions such as an Emperor’s Advisor must be gained through roleplay on the server.
  • Your Character Biography states that your character has been studying magic. Characters cannot start off with any knowledge of magic besides knowing that it exists, and any other knowledge must be gained through roleplay on the server.
  • Your Skin does not match your physical description. Please fix one!
  • Your Skin is not complaint with LOTC lore. Please take a look at our Skin Archive for references and free skins that you may use if you’d like.
  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks need to include at least one significant negative trait. This can be anything that is a notable fault in their personality. 
  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response is too short. It must be at least four sentences long and include at least one piece of dialogue and one action.
