    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when one carries out an action of overpowered, god-like nature or taking an action which contradicts the traits of their character.

He grew up on a farm somewhere far away. As a child he helped his mother with chores, once reaching older age helping keep their livestock, goats. On his 25th birthday he set off to explore the world, leaving his parents and 2 younger twin brothers behind. He explored lands, gathering samples and seeds to make a farm of his own someday. He now wanders the land, in search of both a place to settle and places to explore.

 

Character Name: Arnaud Von Grissen
Character Race: Farfolk
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 25
Physical Description: He wears a moss green tunic and cloak as well as pouches and a small leather backpack . He is pale, has white pupils, black hair and is 1.76 meters.
Roleplay Scenario:

"Ha- eh well." I'd stumble, before regaining my cool and saying: "None of those I'm afraid sir, rather I'm here for the magnificent markets of this astounding city. I'm here to buy supplies." I'd pause briefly, before holding out gloved my hand for a shake. "Arnaud Von Grissen, pleasure to make your acquaitance sir."
