    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using OOC information, or IC information from another person OOC to influence, effect or take advantage of IC player interactions or game mechanics
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming seems to be more nuanced in MC, I come from the GTAV and DayZ world, but I understand that powergaming is defined at performing actions that your character would not be able to reasonably do? Typically from the RP servers I come from, powergaming is using game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage during RP, or forcing people into RP situation that unreasonable. An example would be holding someone hostage and requesting something that is not possible to give and killing the hostage.

As you can see your application has unfortunately been denied, but fear not, below I’ve noted why!

 

 

  • Your Character Biography is a bit short. Please include at least 6 sentences. If you don’t know what to add, I recommend thinking more about your character’s backstory. Where are they from, what were their parents like, why are they how they are…?


 

  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks need to include at least one significant negative trait. This can be anything that is a fault in their personality.

 

  • Make sure your Character's Aspirations Response  ties into your Character Biography!

 

  • Make sure your Character Fear Response ties into your character’s personality traits/quirks.

 

  • Your Character Fear Response is too short and should be at least two sentences long. It should also explain why your character developed this fear and tie into your character’s personality traits. 

 

  • Please make sure to explain what caused your character to develop their fear in your Character Fear Response!

 

  • Please make sure that all dialogue in your Roleplay Scenario Response is surrounded by quotation marks. 

 

  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response should include at least one action. Please make sure to add one!

 

  • Your Character Biography states  something taken word for word from the Astral Reach wiki which is plagiarism and against our community guidelines
