"Well.." I say as I look around, "I came here as an escape from my family. I do not seek wealth, but a place to call home, and yes, some adventure." I ponder the last bit of the man's question as I look around some more. "I would believe my place in society is fine, I don't wish for power I'm afraid, just a life to live."

→ Your Personality Traits/Quirks are a bit lacking. If you’re lost on what more to say, think of their fears, how they act around new people, etc.
