    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: To avoid power gaming I try to pace myself in game place and trying to prevent myself from meta gaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming can disrupt fair roleplay by introducing out of character knowledge or information into the in character interactions of a RPG. Fair roleplay relies on the separation of player knowledge and character knowledge to create a more immersive and authentic storytelling experience. When metagaming occurs, it can lead to several issues like Unrealistic Decision Making

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Well 4 years I was the sleeping out in the rain and I woke up, .... and I looked like a turtle,". Panner looks at his hands he then mutters "well I tried everything long story short nothing worked". Before she can say anything, Panner ruffles throw his bag and takes out a box and states "I have the goods you asked for", Panner hands her a box of undisclosed goods.
