Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"oh hi, um, I am an elf, I come from a far and beautiful place, full of trees and magic, it is quite a treasure, ever since I was little my father and mother were very loving, they took good care of me, my mother was kind and my father was as serious as a rock. He taught me the ways of the bow, how to hunt and survive. My mother was the kindest elf in the world, she would often give me strawberries whenever I was near, they ended up being my favorite fruit." I say looking down smiling, picking at the ground. "We were forced to leave our village, after a fire broke out, I was the only one in my family to survive." My smile fades, as I sit up. "and now I'm here, wandering for as long as my feet can carry me".
