    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: it is making a character based on a specific goal, or making your character too powerful in one area that your dumping other points just to achieve something specific.

With a burlap sack over my shoulder, I would set it down and greet the man, "Adventure! I am here to make my father proud!" smiling I would offer out my scarred hand without thinking before quickly switching it to my left. "I do not mean to be rude by offering you my left, but most people prefer it over my right!" laughs nervously and picked the bag up with my right hand tucking it up on my side.
