You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

You look at this Old Hag and you tell her that you come from a Land a Continent away from a small farm where the Crops went dry long ago. You precede to tell her that Slavers took you from your Village when you were but a small boy. The slavers brought you to the land far east where they sold you to the local regiment as a Courier boy. As you grew older you rose through they ranks until you were the Leader of the Infantry. Once you found safe passage to lands far off, You deserted your position and traveled into the great unknown....
