    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: using real life knowledge your character wouldn't have (ex: someone gets kidnapped and they dm you asking you to save them, you go save them even though your character would have no way of knowing)
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: taking complete control over a roleplay, not giving opponent a chance to decide what happens to their character *hits you and you die instantly before I become invincible*

I grip my bag tight and give a lopsided, slightly awkward smile to the unfamiliar man. It takes me a bit to respond, as I'm taking in the various colors and textures of the market. When I do it, comes out in an uncertain tone, "same reason as anyone else, I guess, opportunity". I fidget with the handle of my bag and bite my lip, looking him in the eye and raising an eyebrow, "but who's asking?" I say, half joking.
