    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: using knowledge your characters doesn't know like the weakness of creatures (though common weakness's would like vampires and fire)
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: making a character that is overpowered and doesn't fit the power level of the server making a demi god character when roleplaying with a bunch of characters who are new adventurers

originates from Fenn, he worked as a scribe/librarian and helped keep tab on enemies movements and position and would help scouting/infiltrate in order to gain this information. do to the nature of infiltration would often see comrades fall or have to leave them behind. because of the many years having to suffer from this fact he grew detached and cold hearted  and turned to books and archives, in his eyes knowledge would always be there and never leave him and he found comfort in this fact. but as time grew he wished for more knowledge and started to enjoy seeing the more abstract things the world had to offer. after hearing of ruins to the south with curses and other fantastical things he made a vow to explore these and learn what he cans. he will learn as much as he can from the castle of last hope. he also wishes to one day visit the Grand Library of Dragur.

Physical Description: to begin, light frame but decently toned, stand tall at 6'2" and has amethyst eyes. the normal pale skin of a snow elf with silver/golden hair.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
