Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Sven, a bit confused,"Alright then, well i suppose my *Story* as you put started a few years ago, about three as a matter of fact, you see, im not from around these parts, but senn as though you apprently already know me then you probably also knew that- it doesnt matter, apologies" Sven has a habit of going off track and rambling "i USED to be in a rather wealthy family, me, my father and mother, and my younger sister used to live in a quite big mansion. oh it had it all, butlers, maid, the best food you can imagine, water cleaner that a priests soul. it was perfect. But One night, after a party with the other rich families in the town, after everybody else had either ridden home, or fallen asleep, we got attacked. I dont remember all the details, but i do remember it was a group, i believe ocres i heard them, sneaking in.... TAKING everyone, only a few had time enough to scream, others.... werent so lucky. i managed to hide, i have no clue on how but i did, i heard them talking..... disgussing what to do with some large amount of money. I believe they got.... HIRED to KILL US." He starts to tear up, tears rolling down his face like a waterfall, or dam that had just broken down "I-i ran... was that wrong of me to do? I-I had no other choice.... Sometimes is still think back to that night, what could i have done differently? did I make the wrong choice? should i have fought?" he started thinking out loud and has forgottern the old woman "NO. it wouldnt have made a difference, im still here. ME. I NEED to honour them, keep going, keep.... living, for THEM." He looks over at the old hag, his expression chaning from a sturdy and assured look to pure panic "Oh- OH! i am so sorry ma'am i had not realized what uhh situation i was in, i uhm i started rambling! i apologize sincerely!" With the lack of answer form the old hag, Sven turns around, quite emberrased, and leaves, getting out of the situation as fast as possible.
