    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: By not trying to take on 1v5s and by thinking before every major choice as well as by including others in my actions as they can help reality check me if i try to do something like try to get them to take over a nation for no reason. Just by making choices that a person who had to deal with the real consequences would act like.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: because it does not add meta narrative and it is the rp equivalent of characters pulling ability's out of the astral realm, it just makes all stories involved worse and less fun.

Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

((How do you respond?))

Example: "I'm afraid I've no grand legends worthy to tell." the man said, carefully setting himself down on the tent cushion. "I've heard plenty of such tales," the old women replied "However, I asked for your story did I not?" The man heard caw of a crow, and with it's call, a new story began.

"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until…
