    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using realwold knowledge ingame when your character couldnt feasibly know that infomation.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Playing as an unfairly powerful character or an OP characyer without proper storybuild up.(Mewssage me for more info on my stance with this)

“Hello good sir.” I respond with a slightly unsettling smirk. “I am here searching for something. Perhaps.... you can help.” *Evil grin*

 

Taking an involuntary step back wards, almost tripping on the worn cobblestones of the port, the gentleman uneasily says while awkwardly;y chuckling. “P-perhaps sir. What are you looking for?”

“A rare ore. It is one of the strongest variety.” I answer with a smirk.

 

“W-well then, if you could follow me sir.” He said turning around and leading me into the mining/smithing section of the bazaar.

Your application has unfourtunately been denied at this time due to powergaming, though here are the changes that would need to be made:

  • Your Metagaming and Powergaming Definitions are on the right track, though they’re not quite there. Take another look at our Wiki’s definitions for help, and I recommend including examples so I can tell you fully understand!
  • Your Character Biography states that your character traveled to Atlas and Vailor. We are currently on the continent of Arcas, and Atlas and Vailor had to be abandoned for various reasons in roleplay, and are unsuitable to be traveled back to in lore. Please change this accordingly.
  • Your Character Biography states that your character was “trained with every weapon he could get his hands on”. Due to how unspecific this is, my automatic assumption is that this is powergaming. Your character can have basic knowledge of weapons to start out, and must continue to hone their skills through roleplay. Alongside this, your character has too many skills that they are expertly trained in than I see as plausible.
  • Your Physical Description states that your character is 6’10”. This is above the average height of dark elves on the wiki, which is between 5’10” and 6’4”. It is possible to have characters taller than this in the future, but I would ask that you stay within the average height for your first character.
