Once Asurius, everything was lost that day, the day when Talonii Hollow was razed. Being a children from an eminent member of the Dark Trinity, Asurius had many privileges as a young elf, being granted special training in politics, music and combat, together with his brother Abadon. Most of the people living in the district saw them as twins, having only different hair color, although their characters were opposite just like the sun is to the moon. Asurius was a considerate person, being determined to ascend in the ranks of the Dark Trinity and making a radical change to the ills his people was living. He was the favourite student of Malofex, a high priest of the ancestors in his time, having enormous potential in influencing people with his arguments. On the other side, Abadon had the same ambitions as his twin brother, but in comparison to him, he viewed the dark elves as the supreme race, bred to lead the elven people and eradicating the human plague. He often traveled to Krugmar in order to learn the secrets of the orcs and how they fought, meeting there a dark elf. His name was Altyris, member of a cult called the Pale Eye. Abadon's boiling ambition soon led him to his downfall. Altyris shared his knowledge about the dark arts which would allow him one day to overthrow the Dark Trinity, and returned to Talonii Hollow, where he would stay with his brother. He told Asurius the adventures he lived, the people he met and what he learn from Altyris. Hearing those twisted words from his own brother the twins were divided for ever. At least that's what they thought. The Black Scrouge's attack was conducted with such force that the elves would try any means to stop this bloodshed. The brothers, fighting together with their father managed to fend off the attackers for some time but were soon overwhelmed. Fires burning high and corpses flooding the streets were what Abadon was watching, and among those dead elves, his brother lying on top of them, his arms turned into a grotesque bloody thing. His father was fighting among the last leading members of the Trinity when the final blow was announced. Losing all hope, he carried his brother's body among the amassment of destruction, reaching what was once their home, now a ruin of disaster. He repeated his dark mentor's last words, a curse that would forever follow him, the work of evil itself, "nagash". Suddenly, time seemed to stop. Abadon felt his brother falling from his hands, not being able to hold him. His hands were vanishing into a turmoil of shadows. His eyes were bleeding, his body entrangled by the dark powers he summoned. The only thing he remembered is watching his own body melt before his eyes and feinting. Days, hours, maybe weeks may have passed until he woke up. "Ah you have awaken. Asurius, am I right?", said the stranger. He couldn't answer such was the pain unbearable. "You are the one with the white hair right?", however Abadon's hair was black as coal. That moment he understood what he did and heard his brother's voice in his head, "It's alright, brother".
