Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"well.. I just wanted to get away from bigger cities and set up a small farm..." he says, looking around the tent cautiously, "The town I came from fell to corrupt leaders, I was lucky to get out with what little I had.. I really just want to set up my own farm somewhere new." He finally sits down across from the hag, letting out a heavy sigh before continuing, "I lived in a comfortable town. We could sustain ourselves and trade freely, my family used to bake bread and other pastries for the town." He speaks, smiling fondly at the memories, "Though.. eventually, some wealthy merchants came through and started buying land, farms, mines.. they built up the town sure, but the trades weren't as free and it was harder to manage if you didn't work directly for them... so I left" he explains
