Aelthir was born within the proud halls of Lareh'thilln, raised in a traditional High Elven family that valued discipline, knowledge, and honor. His parents were respected among their peers, known for their dedication to preserving the refined culture of the High Elves. From a young age, Aelthir and his siblings were taught to act with dignity and patience, as was expected of their people.
Aelthir had two siblings: an older brother and a younger sister. While he was close with his sister, his relationship with his brother was strained. His brother was prideful and often quick to anger, while Aelthir preferred calm thought and patience. Over time their disagreements grew worse, eventually turning into a serious conflict between them. After a heated argument that nearly came to violence, the brothers separated, each going their own way.
Not long after this conflict, tragedy struck the family. Aelthir’s parents both passed away within a short time of one another, leaving the family broken and scattered. In the chaos that followed, his younger sister disappeared while traveling away from their home. No message ever came from her, and no one knew where she had gone.
With his family divided and his parents gone, Aelthir found himself alone. Though the memory of his argument with his brother still weighed heavily on him, his greatest concern was his missing sister. Refusing to believe she was gone forever, he chose to leave his homeland and travel across the lands of Aevos in search of her.
Now Aelthir wanders the world carrying both regret and hope. He searches for any sign of his lost sister, while also hoping that one day he might mend the broken bond with his brother. Until that day comes, his journey continues across the many lands and peoples of Aevos.
While traveling through a forest in Aevos, Aelthir notices a wounded human sitting against a tree. The human appears weak and exhausted, with a deep cut on his arm. Though humans live much shorter and often more reckless lives than the refined High Elves, Aelthir still believes in dignity and compassion.
He approaches cautiously, keeping a respectful distance so the stranger does not feel threatened. In a calm voice he asks what happened and whether the man needs aid. After hearing the story, Aelthir tears a piece of cloth from his travel cloak and carefully wraps the wound to slow the bleeding.
Although he remains somewhat reserved, as many High Elves are when dealing with other races, he offers the man water and advises him to rest before continuing his journey. If the human seems trustworthy, Aelthir might guide him toward the nearest settlement where he could find proper care.
After ensuring the man is stable, Aelthir continues on his journey. Though he still searches for his lost sister, he believes that helping those in need is the honorable path, even if they are not of his own kind.
