Vulcan would flinch back in surprise and would respond in an angry tone "I'm only here to gather supplies for somewhere I'm going to be living." The gentleman would then offer his hand to shake Vulcan would see this and turn down the offer "I won't be here for long you won't miss me." and would walk past the man as the gentleman would turn and look in confusion why the old man would be so angry.
