    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is playing in such a way that you are breaking character. You are taking actions using information that your character would not otherwise have access to.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Building, or playing a character who is overly powerful, so as to be overpowered.

  • Your Metagaming and Powergaming Definitions are on the right track, though they’re not quite there. Take another look at our Wiki’s definitions for help, and I recommend including examples so I can tell you fully understand!

  • Your Character Biography is missing some lore references! Please remember to include at least two! These can be major events, wars, religion, etc. Here are some links that may help you find some!

  • Your Character Biography is a bit short. Please include at least 10 sentences. If you don’t know what to add, I recommend thinking more about your character’s backstory. Where are they from, what were their parents like, why are they how they are…?

  • Your Physical Description is a bit lacking; I recommend adding some more detail! If you’re lost on what to add, height, eye colour, hair colour, hair length, etc. are all good. 

  • Be sure to write your Roleplay Scenario Response in the third person!

  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks are a bit lacking. If you’re lost on what more to say, think of their fears, how they act around new people, etc.

  • Your Character's Likes Response is too short and should include at least one thing they like about themselves and why. It should also be at least two sentences long!

  • Your Character's Dislikes Response is too short and should include at least one thing they dislike about themselves and why. It should also be at least two sentences long!

  • Your Character's Fear Response should be two sentences long.
