You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
A suspicious look forms in Eadwine's eyes, taking a deep breath as she sat down opposite the lady. ''I'd like to say my story is only at its beginning, I am still in, what they say, 'Human' years.'' She joked, a smile curling at the side of her lips. Her eyes started diverting to the furniture in the room, then to the candles that were all lined up. ''If you were wondering about my family tree, though, I think my parents are still alive. I haven't seen them in a few years since they ran away after the fire that burned down my village, they thought I died with the fire, I suppose.... they were wrong. Kind souls, they are, never quite met another kind soul like my parents. I hope they are fine now.. Without me.'' Her last words were quieter then the rest, her smile was faded before she spoke again. ''I did find another place to call home, but that's where I learned adventure was the right thing for me. I needed a chase and a dream, so I chose adventure.''
