Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

My name is Tieron Weatherly, and I'm a Heartlander from Valfleur. I grew up with my father, but when I was 14, he died of illness. I've been fending for myself since then. I'm poor, tired, and hungry. I'm here because I couldn't stand the city anymore. I want to explore and see the world. And I want to make it through my life without hurting anyone or anything. I've seen too much evil and cruelty to think of violence. I want to know why people do what they do. And maybe on my journey, I will try to make something in this world better.
