    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is gaining knowledge from a source that doesn't exist in the roleplay. Similar to breaking the forth wall, for personal self gain. For example, someone getting a text out of roleplay, telling them that something bad was going to happen, and that person logging on to prevent that event, even though their character shouldn't have been able to know.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming in my eyes, is similar to creating a Mary sue. A character with little or no weaknesses, drawbacks, or otherwise negative traits. Powergaming itself is doing something without consequence, or playing a godly role. For example, (lets use John and Jane as place holder names) "John nukes the town, winning the war." or "John stabs Jane, killing her with no issue."

I'm going to get going now. See ya!" She said awkwardly, and walked off. She hoped that she didn't come off rude, but.. dude.. you can't just come up to random people like that..
