    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: To avoid powergaming I use common sense to make realistic decisions and fair actions that would be suitable in the roleplay.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fair roleplay because when a roleplay character knows more than it technically should, it's not fun for others and tends to make it unfair for people.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
 

My name is Cedric Thorne. I heard that you can interpret peoples dreams. I need you to do that for me.. and don't worry, gold is not a problem. I have had these weird dreams at night. When I fall asleep I hear these voices.. They are telling me stuff.. Terrible stuff. They are trying to manipulate me or something. They keep saying stuff like "We both know you are suffering. Why don't we end it.. Just. end it.. tomorrow". And when I wake up im all covered in sweat. It's lucky they haven't convinced me yet. I need your help.. Please.
