You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"well... Why should I explain to you my story?" I said confidently with a stern voice "I don't trust people I just met. especially if the are an old hag sitting in a creepy tent in a swamp telling me they've been expecting me."

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: think about what you have heard in real life in news and base what you do after what has been achieved. this makes it fair because it means you dont go over and do something inhumanly.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: it makes it so you cannot continue to play fairly with others as you go and do stuff without your character knowing which makes people have no fun and not want to play
