    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is not letting the others react to something that the person who is powergaming is doing, this style of gameplay breaks the roleplay and the fun of many people, thats why it should be avoided
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming, for obvious reasons breaks the roleplay, because the player uses some information that the caracter doesnt know to the caracters advantage, even if the player knows the info, the player only can use it when the caracter knows it

In the Holy Empire of Man, Emi, was born in a horrible ambient, she only had her mother, the type of mother who harm their child. but she refused to let that harming get to her, she stayed strong, one day she fled, and ran into the nowhere(Norland, but she doesnt know that), shes kind to the others, but she never really trust anyone because of her trauma. only the closest. now she wanders to the nowhere trying to find a place that she can call as home...

Roleplay Scenario:

The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

The traveller stay carefull and dont sit, she gives a bow and says "Hi, nice to meet you" She lifts her head up "I came from The holy empire and I..." Hesitates to answer "Hope to see the world"
