Ugzkar was a young orc growing up in the once mighty clan of Warukong until the clan was attacked by rival orc clans resulting in the survivors being forced to flee in the direction of the northern shores. The leader of the group at the time Holgunn One-Eye was a bitter and cruel leader often taking his anger out on all the others resulting in Ugzkar and his future friend Goren becoming bitter with anger and the occasional outburst of rage. The growing rage in Holgunn's clansmen would be his downfall when the no longer Young and weak Goren faced him in a duel to the death. As Ugzkar watched the mighty warrior Goren had become he saw potential for a brave and powerful leader and when he watched Goren's axe crush down into the Tyrant One-Eye's ribcage he knew he liked him. Ugzkar would later on become a loyal friend of Goren's and together they he knew they may have a great chance to rebuild the broken clan of Warukong. For now Ugzkar and Goren would serve their clan wherever as loyal clansmen and followers.
