He was born in the family of rich peasants in the Era of Atlas. Parent’s stead was located not far from Renatus on the coast of The Great Lake. Swimming and fishing were favorite occupations in yearly years. From a young age, parents tried to make him a good farmer but Alex was more interested in constructing different mechanisms. Therefore was decided to give him to school where Alex learned grammar and math. In the age of 22th Alex also occupied smithing, which was essential for good mechanics of these times. Four years later he built his first windmill. This allowed parents to save a lot of money for milling grain. Years passed and life was nice, but this was a dangerous time, the time of War of the Two Emperors. There were numerous raider attacks on the farm, therefore Alex have had to occupy fight skill to be able to protect his family and property. But one day raiders were able to destroy farm and kill almost everyone. Alex fought very bravely but have had to retreat when parents were killed. From this moment starts new period of Alex's life when he need to leave parents' lands and find new home.
