  1. Arloch Alavili Jr., son of botanist and medical researcher Dr. Arloch Alavili, was always a very good fellow, always following and abiding by all the rules and norms of the High Elf town he lived in. Besides his above-average performance in school, he was simply a normal elf who aspired to be successful like his father. One day, he and his father went off on an expedition in search of some very rare herbs with extraordinary healing properties near a human village. While searching in the fields, his father requested he bring a drink for them from the tavern in the town. Immediately after walking into the tavern, his eye was caught by the most beautiful human woman he had ever seen. Instantly, they fell in love with each other. While his father rested at night, he would sneak out and meet the lady, telling stories and having fun all night long. They sent letters to each other for 2 years, seeing each other every time they had to venture back for herbs. Arloch finally decided he wanted to have a human marriage with the girl, and he told his parents. They were instantly distraught, commanding their son to forget about her and this conversation as he was “tainting the family blood”. He, heartbroken, ignored their request and sent for one of the woman's siblings to get her in a cart and deliver her to a nearby forest, where the marriage would take place. When the day came, Arloch snuck out to the forest, not knowing his father saw him leave from the bedroom window. Arloch finally arrived, and as they began to recite their vows, his bride combusted, catching on fire and vaporizing into a pile of ashes moments later, an image Arloch would never forget. He saw his father, the one who cast the spell, and the rest of his family standing there. Enraged and heartbroken, grabbed the cake cutting knife and stabbed his father 37 times, harder and harder with every hit. Blinded by the anger that his families prejudice produced, he murdered them too, mother and two sisters. He cried all night, eventually disposing of the bodies in the fire that his father started. As they were planned to leave on another expedition with the whole family the following day, they were never pronounced dead but rather missing, except Arloch who said he felt “ill” and did not go. He now traverses the lands trying to find some happiness, anything to help him forget about his previous actions.
