    Killer70s

Valathla grew up the Silver State of Haelun’or, in a very strict household that fostered in to her many beliefs, ever since she was young, that other races were in fact worth their time! To be enslaved. Most elves would just disregard other races like humans disregard ants, little nuisances they did not need, but her family firmly believed that they had a right to rule all races, and Valathla assumed that high elves already were set out to do that. She was always an envy to others growing up, but only in physical appearance and the things she wore. People wanted to be her, but not around her. Her personality was sour, demeaning, and cruel, so much so that she felt other high elves were sympathizers. Her father was a brutal self-made philosopher, telling her all sorts of terrible things in regards to other races, while her mother was cold but kept her close in order to live vicariously through her, dressing up her daughter in only the best clothes and jewelry, and ensuring she kept good appearances. Her mother had wanted to marry her to a noble for the honor it would introduce to their family, and her father wanted the same in hopes it would let his philosophy enter politics. But unfortunately, no noble with the right head on their shoulders would want to marry anyone as vicious and bitter as Valathla, whose cold seafoam eyes bore holes in to everyone around her. She had been their only child and only hope for that dream, but they had raised her terribly. Men would fall in love with her at a distance, and be sent off running the second she spoke to them. Still, as she grew older and learned more of history, she found more and more reasons to agree with her father’s philosophy. She felt everything was the fault of other races, through out history. The Fall of Aegis, and what little information she really had access to on it, the soft whispers of other bitter-hearted high elves, it all seemed like something that could have been avoided if they’d simply exerted their power, if race conflicts were dead and they could all work together. Unfortunately, peace was not an option to her in regards to ending race conflicts, but rather, it felt much easier if they’d been subdued. However, her opinion wasn’t so accepted by other elves, and thus, she was greatly encouraged to leave her homeland, and seek her own success. She wanted to go somewhere, where there was no one stopping her from creating her own kingdom, from building from the ground up and using other races to complete her bidding. She despised other races, but yet, she felt some respect for other elves, specifically, snow elves, those poor corrupted high elves. When she met Redlor, a rouge-ish snow elf, she saw a charity case. He was just some weak, pathetic snow elf who’d been lead astray and didn’t have any strong role models in his life, so it was easy to remodel him to her wishes, and promise him second in line to all her business. It felt disgusting in some deep crevice to give so much power to another race, but yet, she needed Redlor’s combative skills to supplement her own weakness, and above all, she needed to test her ability to control others on someone real; she ended up being closer and less cruel to the other elf than she had intended, but nonetheless, it made her confident that she had the ability to maintain another beings freewill with some cold charm that just didn’t quite work on other high elves growing up, and that her plan might just work, if she started small, if she created trust with other races with the intent to one day control armies of them, exploiting their skills to create a perfectly balanced kingdom where every race’s weak spot could be picked up by another race’s strengths. (Please read this in conjunction with my friend’s application, Redlor.)
