You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Example:
Berrik grunts as he sits down on the floor. "First ale, then story". He awaits as he is hopefully given some ale. Once he has the ale in his hand he takes a big chug from the bottle. "I come from mountain deep, to this ..." Berrik perks up his nose as to indicate he is disgusted by the environment. "This area above ground in search for places to dig deep." He scrapes his throat before going on with his answer. "I am on a personal quest to find the rarest gems in the world to bring glory to my family. Many moons ago I started walking but I do not know how I got here in this place".
