Smushu

Kinto was born into a family of sentinels, who take work in protecting people of importance, hence the name Okarr. His name also has hidden meanings, -nto for “next.” His parents wanted him to be the “next” great son of their guarding family, wanted. From his early years, he didn’t show much promise of being a bodyguard. He was a skinny child, looking quite impish in the face with his swollen eyes and their dark purple color. The boy didn’t wield a weapon well but seemed to be interested in how they are made. As he grew older, he grew into his looks. His features turned sharp, and more handsome in a way. His life changed when his parents caught him basically bedazzling his sword, they yelled at him to be more like them. They yelled at him to stop trying to sneak in rocks to chip away at their sides, creating crude knives. He yelled back, stating he didn’t like the idea of protecting people. He wanted to protect them in his own way by making them beautiful weapons to protect THEMSELVES! The angry parents casted Kinto out of the house, out of their lives, calling him “Ata” or tainted.
