Timotheus never met his parents. A thief discovered him abandoned as a baby in the streets of the Kingdom of Curonia and decided to take him in. The man was a strict and stern master, and continuously pushed Timmy to improve himself. However, he did care for Timmy, and saw him as a son. Throughout his life, Timmy learned the basics of burglary, and often assisted his mentor with his work. They only stole from the rich, and for survival only. In his spare time Timmy sought pleasure in books, which led him to be quite familiar with the history of his people and kingdom. Another significant figure in Timmy’s childhood was the local blacksmith, a mountain dwarf who had immigrated as a young adult after he was exiled from his hometown for a crime he supposedly did not commit. He showed Timmy how to handle numerous weapons, from daggers and swords to spears and longbows. He often played with the other children in his village, but his true companion was Hayla, a young girl he met at the bakery one winter afternoon and with who he spent countless hours training with. Unfortunately, Hayla and her family had to move when he were 16, and Timmy never saw her again, although he does hope that someday he will find her again.
