Filo

Born of the carpenter Sophi and an ugly mother, life was strange for Filo. Filo had been born around the time the first wood elves decided to leave the forest in search of jobs in the city. For that matter, he was born right at the turn of the era only shortly after Modern History began being recorded. His father did not follow the trend towards the city however and instead decided to rear up his only child in the seclusion of the forest. Filo did not have much company during his first 100 years to adulthood. For the most part, he learned carpentry from his father and discovered Aspectism through his mother. A few other families stayed behind with The Sophi’s, and through them, Filo was able to meet his childhood friend Blato. Blato was considerably younger, but both had a fondness for Fae Rings. Whereas most people would only sit in one of those mushroom circles once in their life, Filo and Blato would sit in them for hours on end weekly. Ironically, extensive exposure to such a high concentration of Aspectism desensitized Filo to the religion. As a result, he felt less passionately about his spiritual life and turned to philosophy as a means of discovering truth. Filo would wander from the woods more often as he grew older in search of intellectuals who would be able to teach him about meaning and the universe. He was always hard-pressed for it though. In his more recent years, he has taken up the profession of druid just to make a living. He was never educated by anyone outside of the forest. In fact, he resents many of the professional teachers in the cities for their pompous attitudes. Around the time of the coronation of Prince Artimec Caerme'onn, Filo felt an urge to find someone who was wiser than himself so he might learn from them. (P.S. Can I just say that I wish there was more room in the Physical Description box. I couldn’t fit height/weight. He’s 150lbs and 5’4’’.)
