He lived a simple life among other elven family members until he was about 12, then everything went to pieces. They had lived a nice and cozy life among the druids before one day he wandered too far into the forest. He found a road and saw that a sign said “Orcs” with an arrow pointing to it. He went to see them, as he was fascinated by the tales of their immense size, and found one plated in armor. This orc sized him up, saw he was strong, and threw him over his shoulder to take back home. Waghr was helpless, and was taken back to the orcs home where he was adopted. His parents never founds him and they assumed he had drowned in the river, been eaten, or gotten lost and never got back. The orc had a good sized family of about 10 kids, some of them humans or dwarves, he being the first elf he had taken. He got renamed Waghr by the orc man, and couldn't understand anyone so decided he would just not talk at all. Over time he learned he was a slave, as were the other kids of different races, all tasked with cutting wood, mining, and doing other labor, and got many orcish characteristics. Later he learned that the ones who won the fights got respect, and took this as a universal trait. He was a slave until he was 50, most of the others had died or escaped, this was when he finally was able to talk to another person, a now elderly human who taught him Catharism, as Wargh had not been very religious as a child he was open to this. He went and escaped with the boy to oren, but couldn’t fit in there not speaking much and went on his own as a trader on the rodes for about 30 years.
