Elisabet was born in Avalain, to an unknown father and poor mother, who would tell various stories of her lost love; a nobleman who would soon come and take them from poverty, a soldier off fighting in the War of the Two Emperors, among others. Her early childhood was uneventful until her mother became ill and soon died. Though plenty of poor children her age had lost a parent to disease, it still hit her very hard. She was sent to an orphanage, and developed a close friendship with the other children – it was a small place, with only four other children. The oldest kid was a fifteen year old girl, who would take care of everyone when the owner of the orphanage neglected them. But she would soon turn sixteen and be forced to leave. However, all five children decided to run away, and spent the next few years as their own family in a small town. The older Elisabet got, the more she longed to explore the world; and so, at 19 she left her family, though hopes one day they can all adventure together.
