Born to a blacksmith who was renown for his forging skills, although never put much effort into learning his fathers craft so knows only how to make the most basic equipement. Always liked to spend time drinking and eating. After his fathers death in a smelting accident he was expected to take over his workshop but was not skilled enough to satisfy the need of the mouintain dwarves. So he was set out to become a forester to gather lumber for the furnaces instead. On the first day of his new job in an attempt to kill a boar that was unaware of his presence he missed his swing hitting his left leg covering his axe with his blood. A few of the dwarves that were with him saw what had happened and told the story to their kin. Because of that incident he was given the name Bloodblade. Out of the ridicule of his people he decided to set out into the world and make his new name filled with pride instead of shame. Gathering any that would join him in his quest.
