Ri’garik Thirvar. Son of Raygon Thirvar. Born and raised in Kal’Varoth. He proudly wears his family’s red vestments and was afford a decent education due to his father’s military service. Behind his burly brown hair, shines his emerald green eyes and a bright and proud smile. Confidence has never been something that Ri’garik was short on. Some would say that he may have even had too much of it. Confidence he likely inherited from his father, who would occasionally take Ri’garik on trips about the world. Little did he know however, that would spark Ri’garik’s thirst for adventure. The most prominent of these, was a trip to the Oren Empire. To none other than the grand capital of Helena. Due to his age, Ri’garik could not recall much of the trip and vowed he would return one day when he was older.
Growing up, he shared in the brotherhood that all dwarves share and despite being an only child, he considered his friends to be his kin. There was one friend in particular that stood out above all his other companions however. A poor orphan by the name of Eloria Jonvar. The two were inseparable and grew up together, although his family looked down on Eloria, Ri’garik wouldn’t let anyone stop him from helping his friend. He had grown to enjoy assisting others, gaining a sense of pride from it but also deep honor from protecting those close to him.
Aside from spending time with Eloria, Ri’garik developed an interest in adventuring. Again his family did not approve, instead wanting Ri’garik to enlist in the military as his father and his father before him had all done. But the life of a soldier was not the life for Ri’garik. Grateful for the combat training and discipline he had received, he insisted that even with the long family history, it wasn’t meant for him. To his surprise, Ri’garik’s mother actually granted him permission to set out on his own. To venture out and explore new lands, meet other people, and see what exactly this world had to offer him. So, after he finally came of age and was able to scrounge enough coin to buy his equipment, he sought out Eloria and invited her on his journey of a lifetime.
