You’ve just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”
“Good day to you to sir” I chuckle mid-sentence due to the dramatic question previously stated.
I shake his hand.
“A good question, I desire an adventure currently; but who knows maybe I’ll try to become the strongest, or perhaps the wisest, or even the wealthiest of all.” I answer mimicking the the same dramatic tone as the gentleman.
“All I know is that I want to spend my time following where my fate takes me” I say as I’m getting pressed for time.
“I’ll be off then haha” I quickly vanish into the crowd at the main square, never to be seen again by the gentleman.
